First Aid Measures (Section 4)
👁Eye Contact▼
CRITICAL: Flush immediately and continuously with water for at least 30 minutes. Remove contacts while flushing. Alkali burns penetrate deeply — seek immediate emergency care.
🖐Skin Contact▼
Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Flush with large amounts of water for at least 20 minutes. Seek medical attention — burns may not be immediately apparent.
🫁Inhalation▼
Remove to fresh air. Severe inhalation causes pulmonary edema. Seek emergency care.
🫦Ingestion▼
Do NOT induce vomiting — causes additional burns. Rinse mouth. Give water if conscious and able to swallow. Call 911 and Poison Control (1-800-222-1222).
Storage & Handling
🔒 Storage & Handling: Store in sealed containers away from moisture, acids, and metals. Keep in secondary containment — reacts vigorously with water and organic materials.
