⚠ WARNING: Sweet-tasting liquid — fatal to pets and children. Metabolized to glycolic and oxalic acid causing acute kidney failure within 24–72 hours if untreated. OSHA regulates as a reproductive and developmental hazard.

MEDICAL EMERGENCY — call 911 and Poison Control (1-800-222-1222). Onset of toxicity is delayed — patient may seem fine initially. Antidote (fomepizole) must be given before kidney failure develops.
