Flush with water for 15 minutes. Methanol vapour can damage the optic nerve. Seek immediate medical attention.
🖐Skin Contact▼
Wash with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Absorbed through skin — seek medical evaluation for significant dermal exposure.
🫁Inhalation▼
Move to fresh air immediately. Methanol is absorbed by inhalation. Seek medical attention for any significant exposure.
🫦Ingestion▼
MEDICAL EMERGENCY — call 911 and Poison Control (1-800-222-1222) immediately. Antidote (fomepizole or ethanol IV) must be given within hours to prevent permanent blindness and death.
